Safety is the reason we built this the way we did
Every rule below exists because it needed to. Here's exactly how we keep Cupids, their friends, and every date safe — no fine print, no vague promises.

At Introductress, three things are non-negotiable: consent, transparency, and public safety. Every policy on this page exists to protect the people at the center of every date, especially the friends who are trusting a Cupid's judgment, and the Cupids putting their own name behind a match.
We built this platform assuming the worst-case scenario at every step, so that in practice, it almost never happens.
Before anyone is added to our client database, they go through a verification process that includes:
If a client doesn't pass verification, he's not on the platform. No exceptions, no manual overrides.
Every single date arranged through Introductress must follow these rules:
This isn't a guideline we hope people follow. It's built into how dates get approved and scheduled in the first place.
This is the rule we care about most, and the one we're most direct about:
A Cupid must never set up a date without her friend's full knowledge and enthusiastic agreement.
That means:
Cupids who violate this, misleading a friend, applying pressure, or setting up a date without clear consent, are permanently removed from the platform.
If a friend reports that a male client was disrespectful, made her uncomfortable, or behaved inappropriately in any way:
We built this policy so that reporting something never feels like a bigger hassle than the thing being reported. If something felt wrong, we want to hear about it. Full stop.
(We also take false or malicious reports seriously, to protect the integrity of the system for everyone. Every report is reviewed fairly before action is taken.)
If a date didn't go the way it should have, whether it's something small that felt off, or something serious, tell us.
You will never be asked to "prove" what happened before we take you seriously. Every report is reviewed by a real person, not an algorithm.
(For the friends going on dates, worth including even beyond what Introductress controls.)
To be clear about the limits of what this platform is:

We'd rather over-explain this than leave anything vague. Reach out any time.
