Terms of Service

Last Updated: January 19, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, browsing profiles, participating as a Cupid, being referred as a friend, registering as a client, or otherwise using Introductress (the "Platform," "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

These Terms form a legal agreement between you and Introductress.com ("Introductress," "we," "us," "our").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Introductress in any capacity, as a Cupid, a referred friend, or a client. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.

We reserve the right to refuse service to, or terminate the account of, anyone who does not meet these eligibility requirements or who provides false information.

3. What Introductress Is, and Isn't

Introductress is a platform that facilitates introductions between "Cupids" (users who identify potential matches among their personal connections), the friends those Cupids refer, and male clients seeking dates.

We want to be explicit about what we do and do not guarantee:

  • We facilitate the arrangement of a single date. We do not guarantee chemistry, compatibility, a second date, a relationship, or any particular outcome.
  • We are not a licensed dating service or matchmaking agency in the traditional sense, though depending on your jurisdiction, applicable "dating service" consumer protection laws may still apply to aspects of this Platform.
  • We conduct identity and photo verification on clients and Cupids as described in our Safety Policy, but we do not conduct comprehensive criminal background checks unless explicitly stated otherwise, and verification does not guarantee the safety, character, or intentions of any user.
  • Once a date is arranged, what happens during and after that date is between the individuals involved. Introductress is not present at the date and cannot control or guarantee anyone's conduct.

4. Account Types and Responsibilities

4.1 Cupids

By registering as a Cupid, you agree to:

  • Complete identity verification truthfully and accurately
  • Only refer friends who have given full, informed, voluntary consent to being matched, including knowing it is a paid arrangement facilitated through Introductress
  • Never mislead, pressure, coerce, or incentivize a friend into agreeing to a date
  • Comply with our Cupid Code of Conduct and Safety Policy
  • Accurately represent client information to your referred friends

Cupids are compensated per completed, verified date, according to the payment terms in Section 6. Cupids are independent contractors, not employees of Introductress.

4.2 Referred Friends

If you're referred by a Cupid and agree to a date:

  • Your participation is entirely voluntary, and you may decline or withdraw at any time, including after initially agreeing.
  • You are under no obligation to continue any relationship or contact with a client after a date, regardless of how it goes.
  • You are responsible for your own conduct and safety decisions during and after the date, consistent with the guidance in our Safety Policy.

4.3 Male Clients

By registering as a client, you agree to:

  • Complete identity and photo verification truthfully and accurately
  • Treat referred friends with respect at all times
  • Cover the agreed cost of the date as arranged
  • Understand that Introductress guarantees a date, not a relationship, and that disrespectful or inappropriate conduct will result in permanent removal from the Platform per our Zero-Tolerance Policy
  • Not attempt to circumvent the Platform's safety protocols (e.g., attempting to obtain a referred friend's contact information before a date through means other than the Platform)

5. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use Introductress to:

  • Harass, threaten, or endanger any other user
  • Misrepresent your identity, age, or any information on your profile
  • Attempt to arrange a date outside of a public venue, contrary to our Safe Date Policy
  • Solicit or offer any activity of a commercial sexual nature. Introductress facilitates platonic introductions and dates only, and any indication of solicitation for compensated sexual activity will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement
  • Pressure or coerce any user into participating in a match or date
  • Attempt to bypass verification requirements
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose

Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, forfeiture of pending payments, and, where applicable, reporting to law enforcement.

6. Payments

6.1 Client Payments

Clients agree to pay the cost of arranged dates as specified at the time of booking.

6.2 Cupid Payouts

Cupids are paid a specific fee upon confirmation that a referred date has taken place. Payouts are subject to any applicable tax reporting requirements (e.g., 1099 reporting in the U.S. for contractors above the applicable threshold).

6.3 Non-Payments

Non-payments and cancellations are outlines in out Payments and Cancellation Policy.

6.4 Taxes

Users are solely responsible for any taxes owed on payments received or made through the Platform.

7. Safety Policy Incorporation

Our Safety Policy, including the Safe Date Policy, Consent Requirements, and Zero-Tolerance Policy, is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Violating the Safety Policy is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination.

8. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Introductress disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or safety of any user's profile or conduct, beyond the verification steps described in our Safety Policy
  • Warranties that any date will result in a positive experience, ongoing relationship, or any particular outcome
  • Warranties that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free

Introductress facilitates introductions between adults who make their own independent decisions about meeting and interacting with one another. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, on or off the Platform, before, during, or after a date.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Introductress and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Platform or any interaction with another user, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.

In cases where obligated by law, a liability cap equivalent to fees paid in the prior 1 month is applicable.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Introductress, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your interactions with other users on or off the Platform.

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, our Safety Policy, or our Code of Conduct, or for any conduct we determine, in our reasonable discretion, poses a risk to other users or the integrity of the Platform.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us through the Contact Page. Certain information may be retained after account closure as described in our Privacy Policy, including to enforce permanent bans.

12. Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes will first attempt resolution through good faith negotiations
  • If unresolved, disputes will proceed to mediation in Ontario, Canada
  • Binding arbitration may be required before litigation
  • Each party bears its own legal costs

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users by email or through the Platform before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

a) This website is administered, operated, and controlled by Introductress.com from within the province of Ontario, Canada. It can be accessed from all the provinces and territories of Canada and from other countries, all of which have laws which may differ from those of Ontario. You agree that all matters regarding access to and use of the website will be governed by Ontario law and, where applicable, the federal laws of Canada (without reference to conflicts of law principles).

b) By accessing our site you agree that any claims or disputes that arise hereunder will be irrevocably and exclusively submitted to the jurisdiction and venue of the courts of the province of Ontario and that you acknowledge this voluntarily.
